Description: This is a vintage bsr, or Birmingham Stove and Range cast iron chicken fryer or deep skillet. Originally this item came with a lid, obviously it does not have one now, it has been fully restored which consists of being stripped cleaned and reseasoned three times. You can purchase a lid off of eBay if you keep an eye out for one, personally I do not use one I just use it as it is. The skillet is 3 in deep perfect for deep frying all sorts of things, or just putting a large quantity in the skillet without having it overflow. It is unmarked, but by the way the handle design is, that shows that it is a BSR. Do not hesitate to ask questions, I will do my best to answer within the knowledge that I have. Thanks so much.
