Description: Vintage Carl Teichert Meissen Blue Onion 5 Cup Teapot with the lid and with the OVAL Backstamp. Made of porcelain in Germany between 1885 and 1934. It’s 5 1/2” tall to the top of the handle (5” to the top of the rose finial) 5.5” wide and 8 1/4” long. The handle and the spout are designed to look like part of a tree branch. Blue and white with no trim. Hand wash. There are 2 spots of blue on the handle and 1 on the underside of the lid. There are 2 tiny chips on the rose finial - look at the last picture please.
