Description: This lot of 2 vintage paperback editions of "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley are a rare find for horror book collectors. The first book pictured (left to right) was Published by Bantam Pathfinder in 1967 and the second book pictured was published by Signet Classics (unknown date, see below). The Bantam Pathfinder book reads “1st Edition 2nd Printing”. The Signet book indicates the year of the “Signet Bibliography” copyright as being 1983. The “Afterword Copyright” reads 1965, and below this section reads “First Printing December 1963” with the number line indicating it is the 29th printing. It may be a 1st edition 29th printing however I am unsure due to the 1983 copyright shown. Looking up the ISBN gives you a publishing date of 1965. So this aspect to me seems ambiguous given the research I have conducted, and am presenting it as it is, with complete transparency in mind. Please see copyright page photos for a complete breakdown. Condition: Preowned- The softcover wraps show signs of wear and tear, but this is expected given its age.
