Description: Wonderful 8.5" Asian flower pot vase This piece has a rough unglazed finish on the outside except in the areas of ornamentation featuring stylized chrysanthemums. The interior of the pot is glazed. This is signed on the bottom. In these images flour was rubbed over the signature stamp to make it more legible. I have not been able to determine what exact maker or artist the signature represents, but this looks like Shigaraki ware from Japan. Very nice condition! No chips, cracks or stains. Will be carefully packed for shipping. Thanks for looking!
