Description: You are viewing a beautiful vintage porcelain snail shell manufactured in Italy by Dr. Ermete Agostinelli Porcellane De'Arte. It has an unglazed matte exterior and is glazed on the inside. The rim is silver or possibly platinum. The sticker is worn but I could make out that it reads, "Porcellane D'Arte, Dr. Ermete Agostinelli, Bassano Italy". This company made several different shell type items with metallic edges, but I could not find another like this. This item is in very good pre-owned condition and clean. There is a small chip on the edge of the silver rim. It is fairly minor and not very noticeable. See last picture. It will be packaged with care and shipped with USPS Ground Advantage.
