Description: This is a stunning porcelain teacup and saucer, made in Japan Royal Halsey L&M Very Fine The saucer is reticulated and pierced with diamond cut outs in the porcelain. Both the cup and saucer are painted a light luster purply pink, with iridescent white in the center of the saucer and the inside of the cup. They are also decorated with ORCHID flowers The cup has 3 feet and a diamond shaped handle that are painted in gold, and the edge of the saucer is also painted in gold. The backstamp of the cup is L (Crown) M Royal Halsey Very Fine. The importing company of Lipper and Mann started in 1946 and had a showroom in New York City. They began importing porcelain items from Japan in 1949. The name changed to Lipper International, Inc in 1963. . The cup and saucer are in excellent vintage shape, with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
