Bastogne walnut (English and Claro walnut hybrid) semi-inlet wood gunstock machined for the graceful and elegant Ruger model 1 single shot rifle. Classic style sporter rifle gunstock with shadowline cheekpiece, quarter sawn, honey gold to medium brown wood color, very good figure. Buttstock has a few check/voids (repaired) - please see yellow arrows. 10 1/4" long model "B" type forearm. This gunstock was basic machined from a 28-year-old air dried blank. This Ruger Number 1 single shot rifle semi-inlet wood gunstock was basic machined on a custom built Hoenig-Rodman gunstock duplicator. This gunstock has a small (undersized starter) barrel channel.
