Description: This is a Waltham military wristwatch that was made in 1942. The movement has a serial number of 31997038 and I checked the Waltham serial number lookup and it is from 1942. The Keystone Watch Case Co case has the "OF" marking that stands for 15/17 jewel watch in a waterproof case. It has a USA made Waltham 17 jewel 6/0 size movement. This is not a hacking watch.It has just been serviced and it is running strong in all positions.The movement was disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, re-assembled and oiled.It did not get a new mainspring, it did not need one.Keeps time to within a minute a day.The case is an all original solid nickel with a steel back waterproof.The case is stamped between the lugs "KW2", which is Keystone/Waltham 1942.Original crown. Original off white dial in good condition, it does staining and fading from age.All hands are the original and correct radium style.I removed the old radium and replaced it with modern luminous. New plastic crystal. The band is an original WWII canvas NOS band from the 1940s. This is a genuine Waltham WWII watch in excellent condition.If you want a correct WWII watch, this is it.
