It flys terrific! The model was originally designed for glow power and had strip ailerons. I fabricated a stick motor mount and made the ailerons more scale.It has a pink foam fuse and wings that I glassed with .5 oz cloth and WBPU. The tail feathers are balsa with foam inserts and glassed with .5 oz cloth and WBPU. I used Krylon Fusion silver overall with Tamiya lacquer for the other colors.I decided to install retracts so I used the Great Planes .10 size main retracts. They are very sturdy. I landed several times on a rough soccer field and they are holding up well.I just need to apply the decals. A reply to him said:"I think it will take some punishment. I nosed over a couple times. The first time I nosed over the cowl got knocked loose and I neglected to put it back on tight (I was relying on a press fit) Well, that was a mistake because when I took off the next time the cowl moved forward and rubbed against the prop. It made a horrible high pitched whine so and kicked in the LVC it was drawing so much current. I shut the motor down and dead sticked to antoher nose over in tall grass. Upon inspecting the model the back half of the prop was worn down considerably but the cowl was only marked up slightly. The cowl is made out of PETG so it's tough as nails. I'll screw the cowl on the next time I fly. I've printed out the decals and will apply them tonight. Should look really nice."
