Description: WW2 British Army Royal Artillery Brigadier Service Dress Jacket Highly Decorated Genuine period officers service dress jacket originally worn by a Brigadier who served in the Royal Engineers in the North West Europe and the 8th Army in North Africa and Italy during the Second World War. The original owner was highly decorated and fought in many theatres of war, ribbons to the chest denote the following medals: Distinguished Service Order, Military MBE, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with 8th Army clasp, Italy Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal and Elizabeth II Coronation Medal. The jacket is in good original clean condition and made from all natural fibres. The jacket features multiple medal ribbons to the chest (see above), King George VI Royal Artillery brass buttons, officers pips & crown to the eppaulettes denoting the rank of Brigadier and Elizabeth II button general staff gorget collar patches.
