Description: #1770 Up for sale is this WW2 German DAK Afrika Korps Gas Mask. Later used by the Luftschultz. Container, Mask and Filter canister are original to the time period. Head Straps look to have been replaced during Cold War Era. Overall excellent condition, especially the plastic lenses, most have become brittle and cracked by now. It’s very difficult to see, but this canister started it’s life out as a DAK Afrika Korps camo, however as this gas mask was recycled it eventually ended its life with a Liftschutz unit, and received its current paint job.
