Description: WW II Carl Eickhorn (Solingen) KS98 bayo with correct original frog. The blade was sharpened and displays grind marks per the photos. I purchased this bayo many years ago in this condition. The Chrome plating is in very good condition with no flaking nor peeling, only minor peppering per photos. The Black plastic grips are excellent + with no cracks and 100% tight. The mount mechanism is 100% without issue and fully operational. The leather frog shows it's appropriate age related condition. Scabbard is 100% tight with no looseness including bayo retention. The Eickhorn manufacturer stamp is crisp and clear.
