Description: Fair condition original WWI Austrian Model 1895 Mannlicher Steyr bayonet that has OEWG (The Steyr Factory) on the right ricasso and the Austrian Eagle marking on the left. Bayonet is marked with serial number 2359. Wood grips have original finish and show a 'been there done that' handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has arsenal blue metal finish showing wear and a couple of dents (pictured). OEWG and Austrian Eagle marked on the frog stud. A classic M95 bayonet with a scarce maker marking.
