I am the original owner and purchased it at a dog show many years ago for my personal collection. I particularly like the leaflike depiction of the coat, composed of many individual pieces, in a whimsical yet striking manner. The artist has also used a technique in which the glaze was deliberately crazed and then highlighted by using an applied dark glaze to emphasize the crazed look. It is really quite a special sculpture with an impressive amount of hand worked detail. The piece is heavy and large, measuring 10 1/2" tall by 9" wide and 8" long. Unsigned.
