Zeiss 9.5mm T1.3 Distagon T* Cine Lens Arri B Mount with PL Adapter & Focus Gear

Description: DP OWNED, NEVER RENTED. STORED INDOORS IN DRY STORAGE. Zeiss Distagon T* T1.3 f/1.2 9.5mm wide angle lens, originally for Arri Bayonet ('B') 16mm cameras. Can cover the Super 16mm sized image as well. Excellent in low light. Yields a wide angle image on a 16mm or Super 16mm sized film plane. PL mount adapter has been added. It can be adjusted with set screws for proper infinity calibration. Gears have been retrofitted for focusing with a follow focus / setup. The image created by the lens is absolutely unaffected by mild basalm separation on the outer edges of the inner groups near the front. It has been like this since the 90s, and has settled. There is a 2mm long fissure on the very edge of the rear element -- this is outside of the Super 16mm sized image and does not affect the image circle as well -- I had to exagerrate the angle of view and photographed it several times at different angles to demonstrate it's visibility (or lack thereof). It is not a chip, but a fissure at the outermost edges of the glass. Priced accordingly anyway even though it's arguably cosmetic. This is a great chance to get a B Speed for a great price.
